Morning glory is for anyone who wants a quick green screen and fresh flowers on a sunny railing, fence or trellis.
- Nick each seed with a nail clipper, or soak in warm water for 12–24 hours.
- Sow about 1 cm deep directly at the base of the support.
- Keep moist; seedlings usually appear within 4–10 days.
- Wind the young vines onto the support and skip heavy feeding.
Safety: the seeds are toxic if eaten. Store seeds out of reach of children and pets, and wash your hands after handling them. Ornamental morning glory is not a vegetable.
