Preparation

Many different varieties of tomatoes are available. The best way to plant tomatoes at the right temperature (below 30 degrees and above 16 degrees) is when the soil is prepared.

Planting

If you plant dwarf tomato plants, you can place them 12 inches (30 cm) apart from each other. To plant climbing plants, please space between 15 and 24 inches (8cm-60 cm).

Watering

Tomatoes need water, particularly during dry summers. Water them thoroughly every few days. Tomatoes can need to be watered regularly or even more frequently in containers.

Harvesting

If your tomatoes are firm and completely colored, you know when they are ready for harvest. Harvest your tomatoes every day or two in hot summer weather. Even after they have been gathered, they will continue to mature gradually over the next few weeks.
